TERMS & CONDITIONS

​Escape Wonder facilitates the purchase by customers (“Customers”) of travel related services, airline, accommodations, transportation, entertainment, recreation, tour guides, and travel packages (collectively, “Travel Related Services”), which Travel Related Services are provided by providers (“Service Providers”) unrelated to and having no connection to Escape Wonder.
If the services of Escape Wonder are used to book, reserve and pay for Travel Related Services, you, the Customer (“Customer”), agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) which describes the terms and conditions by which Escape Wonder and its partner wholesalers will agree to provide its services to Customer.

  1. Acceptance: Any deposit or payment for a booking constitutes Customer’s acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

  2. Deposit: Escape Wonder requires a minimum of $500 USD per person to hold reservations.  A larger deposit may be required.  If a larger deposit is required the Customer will be notified.  All Deposits are non-refundable.  Deposits will only be accepted until the specified due date.  After such date, the payments must be paid in full to hold reservations.

  3. Payment:  Full payment is due 61 days prior to the travel arrangements departure.  An earlier full payment date may be required.  If an earlier payment date is required, the Customer will be notified.  If the full payment is not paid by the stipulated date, Escape Wonder reserves the right to cancel the booking(s) without further notice and will NOT refund the deposit.  All deposits are non-refundable and will not be returned after payment.  If any of the other service providers require a cancellation fee, Escape Wonder will pay the fee with amount payed by the customer.  The remaining amount of the full payment will be returned to the customer within two months time if the passenger does not travel.

  4. Changes: Once a deposit has been received, a minimum of $100.00 per-booking change fee will apply. Other fees are at the discretion of the hotels, tour operators, rental car agencies and other Service Providers.  Name-changes will not be accepted.

  5. Non Packages - Cancellations: Cancellation penalties may vary depending on the products booked. Customer cancellation before the full payment due date will incur loss of the non-refundable deposit as specified above. Customer cancellation on or after the full payment due date, but more than 10 days prior to departure, will incur a penalty equaling to a minimum of 50% of the total booking cost.  Escape Wonder will make no refunds for Customer cancellations made less than 10 days before departure or subsequent to travel commencement. Other cancellation fees or refunds for Customer cancellation are at the discretion of the airlines, hotels, tour operators, rental car agencies and other Service Providers with which Customer has reserved Travel Related Services.  Escape Wonder will not take responsibility for any cancellation charges that are incurred by airlines, hotels, tour operators, rental car agencies and other Service Providers with which Customer has reserved Travel Related Services.  The Customer has full responsibility for paying any cancellation charges that are incurred by airlines, hotels, tour operators, rental car agencies and other Service Providers with which Customer has reserved Travel Related Services.

  6. Packages - Cancellations: Cancellation penalties may vary depending on the products booked. Customer cancellation before the full payment due date will incur a minimum loss of the non-refundable deposit as specified above.  All Packages are 100% non-refundable and non-changable once paid in full.  Name-changes will not be accepted.  It is the decision of Escape Wonder to refund or change your package after full payment.  Escape Wonder will not take resposibility for any cancellation charges that are incurred by airlines, hotels, tour operators, rental car agencies and other Service Providers with which Customer has reserved Travel Related Services.  The Customer has full responsibility for paying any cancellation charges that are incurred by airlines, hotels, tour operators, rental car agencies and other Service Providers with which Customer has reserved Travel Related Services.

  7. Children: Be aware that some travel products and or packages do not allow children below a certain age. If Customer plans to travel with children, Customer must notify Escape Wonder when booking.

  8. Passports/Visas: A passport valid for six months beyond the date of return travel is required for entry into most worldwide locales & all South Pacific countries. US citizens with US passports are required to have a Brazilian and Paraguayan Visa to enter the countries.  Customers/travelers with a passport from a country other than the US should request information regarding any necessary documents from the destination countries’ consulates, government or their travel agents.

  9. Limitation of Liability: Escape Wonder shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays, sickness, injury, or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond Escape Wonder or a Service Provider’s reasonable control. In no event will Escape Wonder liability exceed the total amounts Customer paid Escape Wonder for Customer’s travel. Escape Wonder assumes no responsibility for lost tickets, documents, passes, or coupons.

  10. Promotions:  All promotions, discounts or coupons provided by Escape Wonder can be revoked at any time for any reason.  All promotions, unless otherwise stated, are for the full amount of the Classic Package that includes airline.  Promotions, unless otherwise stated, cannot be applied to any Classic Package that does not include airline costs.  All promotions, unless otherwise stated, cannot be applied to the deposit.  The deposit amount must be paid in full before any discount can be applied to the full amount.

Disclosures required by Section 17550.13 of the Seller of Travel Law

  2. Amount to be Paid: The total amount to be paid by the passenger will be either e-mailed directly to the Customer or displayed on the Escape Wonder website.  Prices are subject to change and may vary depending on the types of Travel Related Services.

  3. Travel Dates and Time: The dates that are specified during the confirmation process will be the dates of departures and arrivals of the air-transportation.  This information may changed by the airline due to weather and or other unexpected events.  If the times of departure and arrival are yet to be determined the customer will be contacted once the time of departure and arrival are determined.

  4. All sums paid to the seller of travel, Escape Wonderfor services not provided to the passenger, will be promptly paid to the passenger, when the passenger is not at fault and had not canceled in violation of any terms previously clearly and conspicuously disclosed to and agreed to by the passenger.

  5. Travel Consumer Restitution Fund: Escape Wonder is a participant in the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF).  All passenger have the right to make a claim on the fund.  The lose must be greater than $50 USD and less than $200 USD, and the claim must be filed within a year of the scheduled date of completion of travel.  Claims can be made through the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) website: https://www.tcrcinfo.org.  Please note that Escape Wonder's principal place of business is in California.  Therefore, any passenger located outside of California is NOT covered by the TCRF.
